Ever wanted to make your own comic book? Do you love drawing and telling stories? Like the idea of entertaining people with your ideas? You need to make your own mini-comic!
We’re doing two incredible two-hour workshops at Secret Identity Comics for kids aged 7-13 during school holidays this April. All you need to bring is your imagination!
Workshop One: Make Your Own Mini Comic
10am-12pm April 1, 2017
In this workshop we’ll cover everything from initial idea to writing the story, pencilling the action, adding word balloons and effects, inking for a professional effect and even putting together the final book so you can show off your work. At the end of the class you will have a mini-comic you can give to people to read, put together like the pros.
Workshop Two: Make Your Own Comic Cover
10am-12pm April 8, 2017
In this workshop we’ll learn how to make an eye-catching, pulse-pounding comic book cover. The class includes designing a character, setting up an interesting situation, drawing the action and adding a fantastic logo. The cover can then be attached to the mini comic made in the previous class or stand on its own as a cool piece of art that’s all your own!
Numbers are extremely limited, so don’t delay to register!
